We stand in awe of the colors you display during your time of the year. The Dove Outreach Center, something that sounds like a place where soap addicts should go, is planning to burn Qurans on September 11th. You know, because we all need to come together over a cause or something. Yep, nothin’ says NATIONAL PRIDE AND UNITY like a good old fashioned Quran burnin’!
Now, this isn’t the first time that the Dove Outreach Center (said place for addicted soap makers) has made the news over being hardcore christian morons. A few years ago, they protested the mayor of their town (Gainsville, FL) for being a *gasp* homosexual.
On Hardboiled, blatant Obama fangirl boy Christina Matthews asked the imbred hick preacher about why they want to pick on Muslums (you know, because apparently, the Pres is one…although, I honestly thought he was Agnostic, but whatevs). Said the redneck,
“We have declared September the 11th ‘International Burn a Quran Day’ because we want to send a very clear message, It is indeed a radical message but a very clear, radical message to Muslims, to Sharia law, that that is not welcome in America.”
Did someone forget to tell him that Christianity, at one time, was not welcome in America. Hey, we know how that went, since we had the education, and the guns, christianty won over.
Here is what I propose. As an act of unity, on September 11th, we burn Bibles, Torras, and other holy books (inculding Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand). To even be fair, we could burn copys of the Satanic Bible…this is what happens when man creates his own religon. You have idiots who take it over. You’re not escaping this one, Christians. We stood by while you excused David Koresh, we stood by while you laughed off Jim Jones. Where is the anger in the christian comminuty. There is none, because secretly, christans support the destruction of all man-man religons, except their own.
When walking the life path. You will come to many instances of anger. Yet, what do you do? Do you lay down, and let it consume you, or do you rise to the challenge, and do great things?

Dear Mr. Beck,
I am writing you today in order to ask you to get some help. It seems that lately you have had an obsession with the German National Socialist Party. Lately, it seems that you want to pain this picture that Barrack Obama, our American President is something like Hitler. You have also compared conservatives like Sarah Palin, and Fox News to the Jews in the 1930s and 40s. You do this, not because you think Obama will open up death camps for Conservatives, but you want to show what countries who have health care for everyone, albeit forced, have done.
I am here to say, Mr. Beck, you are not using anything new. Your down right fetish with Nazis and Communists have now back fired. People think you, sir, are a member of the National Socialist Party. No one in their right mind is going to debate you on the horrors of Hitler and Stalin, but why do you keep comparing Obama to them? Are you serving a political purpose, or are you serving a more egotistical purpose?
You see, I, like many other rational Americans, do not see Obama as the great Socialist. I see people like you as a great Capitalist. You are willing to dine on peoples fears just to make a quick buck or two. I have read some of your works, and I have to admit, you are a talented writer. Yet, Glen, I have noticed you like to also tell people how to worship in their own religions. I have a question. Are you the new Moses? Did Jesus summon you to the mount, and told you to steer people clear of churches that preach “social justice”?
What is social justice to you, Mr. Beck? What is someone helping out a friend in need, Mr. Beck? What is a community to you? Did you think of George Bush the same way? Are you just mad because so many of us are thinking on our own?

Since this is such a hot button issue, especially on the political talk radio circut, I thought I would chime in on this issue. Sure, there’s right wingers (mostly) that compare a mosque at Ground Zero to neo-nazis building a pro-Hitler museum at Auschwitz.
I get the metaphor, and I do see their point. However, what about the religious tolerances and so-called freedoms (as long as it’s a right hand path religion)? The President had this to say on it,
“That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances. This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.”
I do agree with Obama. However, I have an idea, why not just ban anything religious a mile around Ground Zero? I mean religion was behind the attack right? Go back in history, religon is the main cause for major wars and mass murder (ie. Northern Ireland, the crusades, the Inquisition, ect, ect). So, how about some real respect, get rid of the real culprit…religion.

Heckling by members of a team from Quebec sitting in the stands at the Canadian Senior Little League Championships escalated into a brawl Thursday with players on the host team from Saint John, N.B., police said.
It’s good to see the good old American values creep up to our friends up north. Idiot parents and their idiot kids ruining what should have been a fun tournament. Instead, idiots once again ruining the day.
It goes on:
“It was trash talk that just went wild,” said Sullivan-O’Toole, whose husband is one of the tournament’s directors.
After being heckled for seven innings and then losing the game, she said some Saint John players “just lost it.”
She said her husband tried to stop a Saint John player from confronting the other team, but he was pulled back by other non-uniformed young people.
Yep, sounds like our friends from the north being idiots.
“We hoped that it would have stopped, and been stopped, by the coaches and managers involved prior to this.”
He said while the season is now over for many of those involved, they could still face suspensions next year.

Well, what can go wrong will? What can go right, does. Let me catch up with what has been going on. I’m back in school now. I’ve decided to come back to get my degree in public relations.
I have been working on a temporary place to live before moving. This is going to be a new chapter in my life. I have decided that the biggest thing I need is to leave Florence. I just feel so stagnant here.
I’m hurting inside. This place is just nothing more than a knife. Lately, there have been more downs than ups, but I am working hard on that. I have to stop…I have to start blogging again, at least personally blogging again.

Over the past week, I lost a few good friends. Mostly due to the fact, I got blindsided on a turn.
I’m just really angry with myself right now…I should have seen it coming….
Why am I so pathetic sometimes…urgh!
Things are really starting to get better, I’m working on my sports blog more, getting it ready for the Jan. 1 opening. MHM is wonderful, over 600 hits, and that just started this season!
Other than that, things are good, just trying to keep pace with everything and everyone.
Ok kids, after a long sabbatical, I am ready to come back. Things have been a roller coaster, but it seems leveling out is the only course of action things will be taking for a while.
So, I will be back later with a few thoughts and musings.
